History

Founded in 1856 as Banque Michod. Owned and run by members of the Piguet family until acquired by Banque Cantonale Vaudoise in 1991. Opened Cayman Islands bank and Lugano branch and moved to new head office premises in 1999. Closed Cayman bank in 2005. Sold 25% stake in PRS Group, Miami, in 2007.
