History Founded in 1975 as Stock and Commodity Services (SCS). Name changed to SCS Compagnie Financière SA in 1981. Bank licence obtained and current name adopted in 1991, with Pascal Nodé Langlois and G. Guyon Krug as principal shareholders. Opened offices in St. Moritz, Barcelona, Bermuda and Nassau in 1994; French life insurance brokerage company in 1996 and Beirut subsidiary in 1997. Established group holding company in 1998. Acquired PG Partner Bank, Zurich, in 2002. Major changes and retrenchment from 2003 to repair damage from scandals and losses. New owners acquired control in 2006.
